This opportunity will be with Flint Hills Resources Pipelines and Terminals team located in Wichita, KS.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Developing and reviewing designs of automation, controls and electrical power distribution systems
  • Performing PLC and HMI programming
  • Testing and implementation of instrumentation, automation, controls, and electrical power distribution systems
  • Provide production support and troubleshooting for existing automation, controls, and electrical power distribution systems
  • Support software patching, testing, and deployment
  • Managing small electrical and automation projects
    • Defining the scope of work
    • Developing estimates and project schedules
    • Develop build packages
    • Track costs and mitigate risks
    • Provide startup and commissioning support


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • To be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering degree program with an anticipated graduation date on or before May 2024
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship
