Description
Molex is looking for a summer engineering intern for our Industrial Business Unit.This position is responsible for the design, development, and modifications of existing industrial products.Responsibilities might include: 3D model and 2D drawing creation with CAD, documentation and drawing changes via PDM system, packaging specifications, customer specification review, engineering change requests, etc.Additionally, providing support to manufacturing process engineers to develop manufacturing support documentation / fixtures / procedures.
This position is located at the Molex headquarters in Lisle, IL., but will be a flex-location format based on current Covid situations, working days in the office and at home, based on weekly job demands.

- Demonstrate the ability to provide solutions to a wide variety of engineering problems.
- Work closely with team members to perform hands-on tasks to ensure completion of objectives.
- Prioritize personal workload and meet commitments.
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- High degree of intellectual curiosity
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / engineering technology or related field.
- Completion of Bachelor's degree by or before June 2023
What Will Put You Ahead
- 2D CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar)
- 3D CAD modeling experience (Inventor, ProE, Creo, NX, or similar)
