Who are we?
As an engineering intern / Co-Op at Molex you will have the opportunity to use your education to tackle real world engineering challenges. You will support the mechanical engineering department with activities such as building and testing prototypes for automotive applications as guided by a Senior Engineer.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Assist with Product Design
- Assist with CAD models and drawing creation
- Build and work with prototype parts to assist in the product development
- Assist with Optical Design
- Build and test optical designs and work to modify the designs to meet customer requirements
- Conduct research activities as directed
- Follow Molex guiding principles and operating procedures at all times
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be on track to graduate by May of 2022 or 2023

- Demonstrate the ability to provide solutions to a variety of engineering problems.
- Prioritize personal work load while developing a single project from beginning to end.
- Apply engineering principles to analyze design problems and develop solutions for the Connected Mobility Solutions group.
- Work closely with individual team members to perform hands-on tasks to ensure accurate completion of objectives.
