What You Will Do In Your Role
Our interns work alongside our employees to solve real problems and offer insights that benefit society through improving our products and services. In addition to being a contributor on their team, interns at Koch Companies learn about our unique Market-Based Management culture and enjoy a variety of networking events to promote lasting career connections. These are just a few key aspects of our internship program.
The Merchandising internship program is designed to provide interns the opportunity to:
- Identify and understand local/regional/global supply and demand of corn and feed ingredients
- Gain an understanding of freight logistics and its impact on the corn and Feed Ingredient markets
- Attend customer visits and hosting customer meetings with merchandisers to strengthen our brand with farmer and livestock customers
- Assist in managing plant inventories for corn and Feed Ingredients
- Develop an understanding of the ethanol production process
High performing interns may be considered, upon graduation, for full-time employment
We are hiring merchandising interns at locations in Shell Rock, IA or Menlo, IA
The Experience You Will Bring
·Eligible candidates will be enrolled in a degree program in Agriculture Business or Business with an anticipated graduation date of Dec 2021- June 2022
·Valid and current government issued driver’s license
