Georgia Pacific Treasury Intern 2023

Koch has been consistently selected as one of the top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S by WayUp. This in-person internship opportunity will be a 12-week program from May 23rd, 2023 to August 11th, 2023.

What You Will Do In Your Role

In addition to being a contributor on their team, interns at Koch Companies explore our unique Principle-Based Management culture, partner with interns from other disciplines on case studies, learn key business concepts and Koch mental models, and engage with leaders to learn more about business transformation, our work in society, and more. These are just a few key aspects of our internship program.

The roles at Koch are rapidly transforming due to productivity optimization available through new technologies. Data analysis and business technology has become a key part of all our roles at Koch. The use of technology enables us to shift our traditional roles to become more analytical.

Successful candidates can expect to work on the following (but not limited to) area(s) of concentration:

· Perform analysis of customer exposure and related risk

· Identify opportunities and implement improvements of reporting and tracking tools

· Builds strong relationships and works closely with leverage capability, finance, legal, operations and businesses leadership as it pertains to the organization and delivery of the Order to cash (OTC) process

· Develops reporting, analytics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) designed to measure and track performance Identify and evaluate recurring customer/data issues and implement solutions

    The Experience You Will Bring


    • Eligible for full-time employment on or before summer 2024
    • Enrolled in or have completed a degree, certificate program, or workforce training program related to Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Quantitative Finance, or related business degree
    • Able to work in the US without sponsorship

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and robotic process automation
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong critical and entrepreneurial thinking skills
    • Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
