Successful candidates will be placed in a Process Safety Engineering Rotational EH&S Professional (“REP”) role within Koch Companies Services, LLC and be placed in two of the following locations (subject to business demand):
- Flint Hills Resources:
- Corpus Christi, TX
- Rosemount, MN
- Wichita, KS
- Koch Ag & Energy Services:
- Beatrice, NE
- Dodge City, KS
- Enid, OK
- Fort Dodge, IA
- Wichita, KS
The rotational program will allow the candidate to support and experience two sites, each for an estimated one-year period. During these experiences, the Process Safety REP will have a supervisor and an on-site mentor to assist in development and project execution. After the second year is complete, the candidate will be placed at a final location.
The type of projects and initiatives a Process Safety REP can expect to see and do are the following:
- Actively lead and gain exposure by working on projects within various process safety elements (e.g. MOC, PSSR, PHA, PSI, Incident Investigations, etc.)
- Assist with design and roll-out of process safety efforts for facility personnel
- Provide frequent input and review of process safety risk reduction practices, projects, and effectiveness
- Lead and/or participate in projects requiring engineering expertise with a process safety focus
You will begin your career with Koch Industries applying what you have learned over the past few years while developing new skills that you can apply throughout your career. The Experience You Will Bring
- To be enrolled in a Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering degree program, in senior standing, and with one to two semesters left until anticipated graduation, or to have recently graduated.
