This internship will be at Georgia-Pacific Wood and Fiber Supply. GP’s Wood and Fiber Supply (W&FS) organization ensures that the company's mills maintain a constant flow of logs, wood fiber and chips to sustain its tissue, packaging, paper and building products manufacturing operations. W&FS operates in some 15 U.S. states, and sources its wood from private lands owned by industrial, institutional, or individual landowners.
What You Will Do In Your Role:
The Wood and Fiber Supply team is seeking a Procurement Forester Intern to support our wood basin operations for Georgia-Pacific. The Wood and Fiber Supply (W&FS) organization is key to ensuring that Georgia Pacific's 80+ mills maintain a constant flow of logs, wood fiber and chips. W&FS sources its wood from private lands owned by industrial, institutional, or individual landowners. Through this opportunity, you will understand the business of wood procurement for a vertically integrated company.
Our interns work alongside our employees to solve real problems and offer insights that benefit society through improving our products and services. We are hiring Forestry Procurement interns across various locations for Summer 2023.

Requirements:
Eligible candidates will be enrolled in an undergraduate (Bachelors) or graduate degree program (Masters) in Forest Resources, Natural Resources, or Forest Management for the duration of the internship (May 2023 – August 2023).
Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
